Well summer is almost upon us, so share one part of your big summer plan and apply some good ole communication vocabulary, something you learned this semester...ie: coms 301, try some persuasion, for coms 321, use some o perceptions or emotions and coms 331--Good ole system's theory? --S

Summertime. Ah yes...long days of sleeping in, staying up late,sleeping outside of the covers with the windows open, playing on water slides, chasing ice cream trucks barefoot and dusk-time volleyball games at the park with a smoldering barbeque pit. ..
Maybe that's how it was 6 years ago..now days the only thing that changes is the season. Work is still work. Summer school is there.
But I must say their are cultural expecations of how one feels during the summer: Excited, anxious, lazy, carefree and maybe a little daring (bridge jumping, summer "loves" etc.)
This summer I will be going to Seattle for a big conference and there spending time with someone special - so that will be fun. My big "Summer Vacation" will be in December as I celebrate Christmas this year in New York City!
This summer I might go to Manila for two weeks. My mother is celebrating her 75th bday in July - I haven't planned but my sisters there have planned and are all set for it and my parents are all ready to go to Manila for at least 3 weeks - tickets and all! Just got so busy with school. Ticket is expensive too - RT is about $1200! I work part time coz of school, if I win the lotto I definitely would go (-: One thing is sure though I'll celebrate her bday here before she goes if I'm not able to.

Well I was so stressed out this week that I spent $312 that I don't have all in 11/2hours. This summer my plans are sooo SUPPER, that I think everyone should follow in my foot steps...AKA Ha ha ha. The frist thing I plan (I have done) on doing is:Quite one of my jobs, that's right, no more serving people with bad manners; 2nd is: Enroll in 10units this summer, this way I can be prepared for the classes I need this fall and if I dont pass I'll re-use all my work; TRUST ME! this works! and last but not lest, since I work at the college as a temp worker, I will be at CRC 24/7 4-days a week. Now if that's not a SUPPER SUMMER, then I guess I can make up for lost times on my 21st B-Day Aug.2.06 where I Plan on taking the week off, know qestions asked! SUPPER SUMMER... everyone should have a plan like mines, it very practical:)
I cannot wait for summer to come. I dont have any plans to travel far way but i am planning on going to the river everyday. Nevermind....I am going to San Diego for Memorial Day weekend. I am going to go to the beach, and i will probably drink too much. My friends will have to use "team work" to keep me from drinking way too much. Overall It doesnt matter what im going to do over the summer. THe only thing that matters is that school will be over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But then summer will end and school will begin again. :(.

I wanted to let you kow that during the summer I plan on going to Las Vegas to visit my aunt and then to San Francsico to see my great grandmother, because she just had her hip replacement a few weeks ago. Somes things that I learned this semster from you is the I-thou, also about conflict the win-lose, lose-lose, and the win-win. And really have been using these things with people at my job, relationship, and at home with my parents. Thank you for a wonderful semster and I hope that I can work with you in the future. Like chi, I also wanna take the same writing class with her, but because my parents are gonna move to other city in Taiwan, I decided to go back some day this summer to help them. I think it's should be either May 2x after the last final of this semester or Aug 4 after the last day of summer school. No matter what, I will have a tight schedule this summer.
Anyway, I wish everybody have a great summer. ^_^
