Get Ready 4 The Midterm: Good times and Sharing

Okay--Let's talk about he midterm--anyone wnat topsot their notes to share with the Tues/Thurs class mates who need them? Saturday students may want to discuss questions about any of the book chapters you've read so far. I'll keep an eye out and make sure to respond before you take the test: Remember it is short/casual essay style (write an intro/body/conclusion and use as many of the conventions of our class-speech outline as you can in your essay, identifying them please) between 2-3 pages, at least one drawing (stick figures are fine) as an example, use as much vocabulary as you can from either the bold terms in the textbook (Sat students) or the notes you took in class (T/Th), underline each term you use in the essay...The "artifact" for your essay will be given in the begining of class on either 10/13 (Saturday) OR 10/16 (Tuesday) --an artifact is an object of study, so I will read or show you a speech and have you use your materials and "rhetorical invention" to discuss it in your midterm essay. Colored paper/felt markers/etc are welcome, as are videotapes or sound recordings if you can prepare them during class time.
