WOW what a debate. Here is what me and my friends and family observed.

It seems that in every debate senator McCain can't seem to sit still or get enough words in. He rarely answers the questions he is asked and proceeds to talk about whatever he wants, even when the mediator tells him to stop. We noticed a lot of "mud slinging" from McCain rather than addressing the main topics. He seems to keep trying to attack senator Obama on a personal level, rather than just staying on the topic.
Also, We noticed that McCain was very disrespectful, condescending, and sarcastic in his way of speech towards Obama, not to mention ALL of his various facial expressions he gave, that seemed unnecessary.
As far as Obamas delivery, I felt he was very professional, respectful as well as genuine. He did not seem to attack McCain directly or personally, he simply sought to address the issues and give light on some of the rumors that were going around. I think that Obama is a much better speaker in that he is able to maintain his composure and his emotions and doesn't burst out like McCain does. I only wish he were given equal amount of time to speak, being that McCain always had to have the last word.
I noticed that Obama tried to reel McCain in from his tangents numerous times and get him to get back on topic, but McCain seemed to not be LISTENING to Obama at all.
One thing that frustrated me is how McCain kept bringing up "Joe the plumber" and insinuating that Obama was going to tax this poor "Joe" and prevent him from owning his fathers business. That is ludicrous!!! I don't know any plumbers who make over 250k a year, but that is who the taxes are for, but McCain is spreading these things that are distortions from the truth. My father in law made the observation that he says "glittery" things but doesn't give any details on his plan, he just mentions how he "likes" things, but not that he has any interest in REALLY seeing them change.
Lastly, the main difference I see between Obama and McCain is that McCain seems to be rallying for the rich and Obama for the middle- lower class. They both seem to make this very clear. I was astonished to hear McCain say to Obama "You want to make "Joe" spread around his wealth, and Joe, I want you to keep your wealth"
It is clear to me that McCain wants to look after his own. Seems like a very scary leader to me. I know its long... And keep in mind, these are just OPINIONS from myself and those whom I watched the debate with. : )
