Hi From the Road!
Hope your week is going well--by now you should have posted your persuasive speech topics to the previous blog or at least emailed them to me...I hope you have a good week off this week and for this posting I'd like you to get festive! Think about how soon you will be relaxing and the semester will be nothing but a fond memory! Tell us how you'll spend the semester break, what you are most looking forward too and then use a "pretend" research citation to support your idea, for example: I plan to hit the beach over break and beach expert and theorist Wally Wave-rider always says, "Watch out for coral and catch a wild wave!" (11/08 Wallyblog.com). Good luck getting your research ready for the 3 citations required in your persuasive speeches everyone!

I'm happy it's almost over because I've been working hard and this semester is going to be a good memory of accomplishments. I plan on relaxing by preparing for the holidays and perhaps taking a trip to Reno because fungetaways says, "It's time to enjoy the good days and role out." I'm also going to be getting ready for my son's second birthday party in the beginning of January so that's going to be exciting. (11/08 fungetaways.com)

drusilla lang, i will being to go home to my husabnd right after work and relax; and of course "hit up vegas baby" for new years....(southwestvacations.com) ha!
I'm looking forward to soaking in a hot spring and counting shooting stars. Water Dog says: "Ooh! Ow! Wow! Soak and shake the worries away!" (hotwaterdog.com)

I will resume the home improvement projects that have been on hold. I will finish my koi pond and waterfall, and also install crown molding throughout my house. "Home improvement projects are easy and fun with the right tools and the right advice (11/08 diy.com)
Well, it been a long and stressful semester!!! What I plan to do on my time off, is to plan for the holidays, and according to (disneyparks.disney.go.com 11/25/08) "Come and live out you biggest wishes and dreams". And with that said I am taking my son to the happiest place on earth and enjoying myself.

During the wonderful break between semesters, I'll be spending time with my baby, husband and other family and friends. For New Years, we'll head to our vacation home with friends, where I will make a huge pot of cioppino for our New Year's meal. This year I'll be attempting a new recipe from Giada de Laurentiis. Can't wait!(11/28 http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/giada-de-laurentiis/cioppino-recipe2/index.html)

For the relaxing winter break I will enjoy my family at home and wait for Christmas to come. I will be making a huge dinner for the holiday thanks to soulfoodreceipe.com 11/28/08.
This winter break I am going to be getting ready to go back to UC Berkeley next semester. I hope to graduate in two semesters so i'll be studying really hard. I think I also might be going to Vegas to attend the CES event. And when i'm there i plan on doing what Funbob always says, "Work hard, play hard"(funbob.com)

As the autumn leaves fall, and the clouds darken...I am getting ready to train for the Sea Otter Classic in Monterey, California in April. I hope to ride the century (100 miles) in a respectable time~ I will also be working many days at the pharmacy. It will be hard to balance out time to train but even with this hectic schedule, I will train hard on the road. As Captain Nesmith always says," Never give up! Never surrender!" (Galaxy Quest 1999).

This semester break, I plan to attend a good ol' family tradition with my Filipino family and have a huge family christmas reunion hosted by my Aunt Beth this year, and it will be potluck and I plan to bring shrimp eggrolls. Before that, my own family plan to spend a little weekend trip to Lake Tahoe (courtesy of "Destination Paradise" a vacation package that me and my husband signed up for when we were in Hawaii.)(destinationparadise.com)

I'll be visiting family in Boise Idaho. I'm looking forward to a fun road trip and will enjoy making some new recipes over the break. Like Raley's says "Enjoy food, enjoy life." I will hopefully get some resting during all of the holiday madness : )

I am looking forward to the semester break. I am boycotting public speaking during this rest time. During the semester break, I will actively AVOID painful communication situations...such as: Disney Land, children, Reno, my family back east, US domestic flights, Sarah Palin interviews, and CRC. I will catch up on watching movies! "THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL" opens December 12th! I will see "THE SPIRIT" on Christmas Day (hurry up and bleed!). I also want to the see the Italian movie "CIAO" and the Indian movie "SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE". www.mycityscreams.com says "THE SPIRIT is just like COMMUNICATION 301 - mysterious superheroes, female vixens, a villian named Octopus, and lots of out-of- control action!" Watch it!

I am looking forward to just driving home and spending some time with the family and watching Tv. Stuff the I have missed and at the same time not to be totally away from school stuff so that when the semminer starts I am not way to off to get backin the mood.

I'm glad the semester is almost over because I am ready to have this academic year end. I have been waiting 4 long years to get through high school, and can take it no more. I am ready to become a full-time college student and get on the fast track to my career. I realize that becoming a Doctor is not really something that can be done overnight, but the sooner the better. I will spend this break at home cleaning the house. Housekeeping magazine says, "A good time depends entirely on a clean house!" (Mr. Clean). I'm actually had some guest over, so it was important to have a tidy house. I've missed class, can't wait to see you all tonight.

My plans for the semester break is to spend more time with the love ones. With school and work I don’t get as much time to see all the family. With the holidays around the corner I want all my family to know that they are all important to me. I also have to call a few friends and send out some holiday cards. Because Family and Friends magazine says “keep your family and friends close during the holidays.” It only takes a few minutes to tell someone that you love them. OMG we are almosstttt done, and I can't wait for winter break. I dont really have big plans as such but I think some close family friends are coming to visit from Missouri. Lts just say that I have a feeling it is going to turn out interesting as (www.relationshipdestiny.com says) " you never know what future can turn out to be like". LOL... oher than that, like Victoria I might be visiting dineyland as well so that should be fun

I am looking forward to having the time off of school and December
24th-January 1st off of work. The daycare kids will be spending time with their parents and I will be spending my time relaxing with my children and taking a trip to the snow. As Dr. storytime say's family fun time is the best time.

We are almost done!!! I am looking forward to getting extra sleep during this break. I don't have to think about my next speech nor sitting in class until 10pm...although I did sneak short naps here and there without Sandra noticing it. Sleepy from "SnowWhite" insisted we all should just mute everything out and rest our eyes for 30mins every 2hrs. He said its not only good for our brain, but the world can be a better place when people are less cranky. (Sleepydwarfy@snowwhite.com).

I don't know about the semester being a fond memory. I've made some mistakes and I feel like I could have applied my self a lot harder or have stayed committed to my school work and time schedule. I'm not being too hard on myself. But honest. And besides playing Need For Speed, HitMan, Max Payne, or any other video game, I need to make sure that I recharge my brain with positive affirmations and re establish those goals so that I can stay ahead. I think of my vacations as a time to work on me and my art. So, instead of procrastinating and becoming a slacker who stays in bed all day. I will take the words of Mr. Anonymous that said, Aim at nothing and you will succeed.

I know its 12:02 but I got home late but, I was most looking forward to family friends and food, because like my grandpa always said there is nothing like feeling up with turckey and apple pie while enjoying stories of the past. I Love apple pie so i am looking foward to that, and to apple cider, and just being with my family, I have heard from many people that the Holidays are special because of spending time with family, however I Believe you should make time to hang with your family year around, Hope that is good explanation

i will be spending my time working to make more money and afford christmas presents. just like mtv says," everybody loves money!" (www.findmtv.com)

I'm glad the semester is almost over and that it will be nothing more than just memories. I can't wait for the holiday vacation to start. I had two major things to focus on during this break. First, improve my english by practicing written essays. In other words, write more often than I usually do in order to gain more speed writing. Second, I will join a public speaking or a reading club so that I can meet more people and be enlightened by new set of ideologies and beliefs. I don't like school, but I enjoy learning new things on my own and Winston Churchill agrees with me on the matter. He said, "I am always ready to learn although I do not always like being taught"(quote (21)http://www.quotegarden.com/learning.html)

During the vacation I will catch up on much needed sleep. Last night I only slept for four hours because I was working on a paper for my SOC class. I found out that humans have found a way to adapt to the lack of sleep. Acording to sleep expert Sleepy Sleeperton, if a human fails to sleep for two nights (16 hours of sleep), that person does not have to make up 16 hours of sleep. Instead, the human only needs to sleep an hour or two extra on the third night in order to feel as right as rain.

I will be relaxing having plenty of mimosas as soon as the semester is over for sure! But besides that I will be just working, try to learn to DJ, photoshop some work, snowboard, and save for my hopeful move to San Francisco in January where Dorothy says, "There's no place like home" (Wizard of Oz 1939).

With my time off I will be snowbarding and I am most looking toward to being done with school this semester according to Shaun white he says "this is going to be the best winter for snowboarding in 3 years.

please, love, and happiness

I am definitely going to be the lat one to respond to this blog but this winter break will be a pretty busy one for me. I start a new job on the 8th of the month. I guess i will be studying for the TEAS test(standardized test for Nursing schools) since i have several weeks before next semester begins. Boring I know but like Willy Bobber always says,"Work harder or desire less!" (11/2008 www. Willybobber.org) I guess i will be working harder!

"shibbidy shibbidy shwoah,

Spending time with family will be the main goal. Second goal is to continue to take classes to finish my degree.
I plan to take one, maybe two online classes during the semester break; no rest for the wicked. Merry Eyman says, "I am the sole advisor. Stay in school, listen to me and I'll get you through this process."

Yay! Christmas is coming. I plan on spending the time catching up my sleep. Sleepy McSleeperson says that "lack of sleep can make you go blind" (12/5 sleepcity.com)I will spend the rest of my time in training for my new system at work, and planning for next semester. I'm joing a gym so I will be skinny by summer Woo Hoo!
