Um...i am not quite sure yet...but I think my topic will have to be persuading our class that recycling isn't hassling at all...there are simple ways of helping the earth! I know i know..it isn't a very interesting topic...but its a must...It can be a hassle but will a few pointers from my end (persuasion here!)it'll be pretty close to a piece of cake!

My topic will be to spend less money on holidays and instead give gifts that are creative or to give the gift of presence. I'll speak from personal experience and possibly bring some examples. I will have some cool statistics as well on our economy vs global economy Its pretty staggering stuff!

My topic is about textbook prices. Amoung the outrageous things that I experienced in the education system in the United States is the price of textbooks. I hope to persuade students that textbooks must be made free or at least affordable for students. I believe that textbook are necessary tools to succeed in courses, and that the government must intervene to make the tools available for every students.

It looks like I will be presenting information on a couple of options for performing community service. I hope to persuade others to get involved, whether independently or as part of an organized effort. I think my topic is going to be: Why american high school education should be more like European high school education.
Reason: Youth are unprepared to support them selves once they turn 18 in America and the economy is such that we now need to work to put our selves through school. (i'll fine tune that when I get sleep again in 2 days, yay for vacations! I get to sleep in until 8am on thursday whoo hoo!)
I will attempt to pursuade you NOT to waste your money buying the anti-cold product "AIRBORNE" this cold and flu season. They say Airborne was created by a SCHOOL TEACHER! Well...Sandra is SCHOOL TEACHER! I think Sandra should create a "Comm-YOU-nicate" dietary supplement in an effervescent pill form and sell them to her students! Then she will tell us we are improving, and to continue buying more "Comm-YOU-nicating" pills! We all end up in a "Comm-YOU-nicating" Pill Rehab Program, with the exception of Miss Dee Dee, because she dropped all her pills in her Guacamole-Salsa Mix...

I'm thinking about educating people about the environmental defense fund and how they should become active members that support its philosophy. That its not just about global warming but that we should take part in all of the causes in the world and that by joining we aren't just tackling one cause, but all of earths problems in a scientific, business, and political way.
