Suggestions for preparation:
Don’t do it sleep deprived! Memorize the outline (expect a quiz any time on the outline in class)
Memorize a generic attention getter, credibility comment, 2 complete transitions and a memorable ending. All of these can be fairly generic, used for any topic that comes up.
Speech will be graded on organization and delivery only, since you have no say in the topic.
Topics will be very simple and basic, yet potentially entertaining, to make it as easy as possible for those who come prepared. See previous list below for an idea. You’ll draw from an envelope. You can compare/contrast if you like.

Ok I got like too many to choose from LOL. I will start off my thesis like this,
I would rather catch fish, have a fade, be asleep most of the time, die rich, watch UFC, eat ice cream and play professional basketball vs. being a chicken with braids barely awake extremely poor trying to wrestle this cake on the football field. How is that?

Love or Money...Money or Love??
its hard to choose between the both isn't it?! Let's really take time to think about it. I have, and money can't buy me love, and you've heard the saying "Money can't buy me happiness" or "Money can't buy you love" to some people...money can buy them love. Maybe its not a person they love. Maybe they have a love for something else because they don't believe in being in love with another individual. Say they love horses, cars, art, etc. Then i guess you could say that Money can buy you love if you fit into that category. My belief is that money can't buy me love or happiness.
Money can't provide me with someone that cares about me genuinely and will love me unconditionally. A car can't love me unconditionally. Nothing that is materialistic can love me. My grandma once told me that when you die you can't take materialistic things with you.
It's true..money can't buy the love that i had with my grandma. It can't buy me a long lasting relationship. Someone that can love me for who I am, and not for the money that I have.
In the end which one will you choose? Money that can buy you everything you've wanted materialistic. Or love that will last you a life time? I choose love, because when I die..I can't take all the junk that i've collected over the years anyway.
I would choose Studying for a test Guessing the answers and I would start like this...
Who has never guessed in an exam??? Bravo, that's what I thought, noone wants to admit this. The purpose of my speech is to inform you that studying for a test is very important than guessing the answers and since you pay for the class and spend time in the class; it's better to just study and get good grades. Since all of us are students in this class and we all come to class everyday it would benefit us to just study and get better grades. I am also a student and during this hard economic times I would definitely want to get the best out of the class since tution is getting higher every semester and I bet noone in this class wants to take the same class again and again. Now let's get started with some intriguing facts.

Winning or How you Play the Game...
How many of us have honestly cheated while playing a game, and afterwords felt horrible about it? I know i have, and I felt unhappy about what I had done. In life no matter what you do, you have to think about how you will affect others around you. I am here to inform you that it is way more gratifying if you play hard than if you just push others down to make it to the top. It is not always about winning, you have to have team work and help others out even if that means you'll fall behind. Of course its makes you feel great if you win, but you will feel way better about yourself if you help others on your way up to the top. Tell the truth and embarrass someone or lie and save face?
How many of you have had to tell the truth even if you will embarrass the person? I have. When you are a true friend you generally tell the truth even if you embarrass the person or hurt their feelings. Deciding whether to tell the truth and embarrass the person, or lie and save face is a personal choice that everyone has to make. Some people would rather have you lie to their face rather than tell them the truth and embarrass them so I would have to say it will depend on who you are dealing with and how you feel about being honest vs. being dishonest. Now that I have told you about being honest and embarrassing someone vs. lying and saving face, I am going to go into depth on what your options are for dealing with different types of people and how they would prefer you to treat them.

I really appreciate what you have to say about love vs. money because I personally hate money. I have always felt that people who choose money over love are not only shallow but will never truly be happy. Money cannot provide happiness and will never fully satisfy anyone's needs. People that are obsessed with money will always want more, a never-ending cycle of greediness. Love for your family is so important these days and I really respect what you wrote about.
Topic: Spending money-Saving money
In my opinion, this issue has been so controversial for many people who have financial problems. Sometimes we spend our money in stuff and issues that we don't really need to spend that amount of money. However, most people seem not to realize that they are over spending their money because the convenience of credit cards, ATM machine everywhere. At the end of the month, the bills are sent home and give us headache to find solutions for the fund that we should have saved instead of overspending. As a student, i think that we should not be interested too deep in many luxurious things such as famous brand of clothes, handbags, or jewelery. Try to save money until the end of the year or any special occasions, buy yourself a gift if you think you are doing good in school, saving enough money for school and daily needs such gas, food, and tuition fess.

Bill Gate, one of the richest man in the world is also a high school dropout. He doesn't need goo have good grade or graduate from a famous university to make million, he just need his knowledge and a few tea spoon of luck. Therefore, I am here today to share with you about my side of the matter, and I think that knowledge is more important than good grade. As a person with many years of experience in the field of study, I believe that I have the credibility to talk about this matter. I guess that most of you here has, at least once in your life, cheated on a test. That moment is when you chose good grade over knowledge. Topic Heels vs Flats!
Listen up ladies! You're walking into the Trump Tower to meet yes the one and only Donald Trump, for the most awesome job opportunity of a life time. You're on the elevator checking your hair and make-up. You get off on the 46 floor. There it is Donald Trumps office! Suede sofas, leather seats, and diamonds everywhere. He calls you in, you walk in wearing a one and only Vera Wang white blouse with a cute dark purple pencil skirt, that Mr. Trump sent you personally as a gift. He looks down on your feet and your wearing...FLATS!!!!! Oh no he makes a, "What the heck were you thinking, wearing flats!?!? Have you not heard of heels?' face. It really makes him think if you're ready for a professional job or are you getting ready to work for Macy's back at home?
Its time to ditch those flats and time to become a sophisticated woman with some great heels. I mean don't you want to look taller, slimmer, and look like you have the cutest behind ever??? You want to look profesional and feel like million bucks. Heels have a great essential to make any outfit look ten times better.
Wearing heels will give you the confidence some flats have never given you. You will look, walk, talk, and breath confidence with a great pair of heels.
It might be your first pair of heels, so try and grab the ones that best suits you and your comfort. Yes, at first it takes time to get use to them but everything does. You have to try to wear shoes that make you look like you just come out of 'Sex and the City' and you're ready for anything that comes your way.
Haven't you ever wanted a guy to notice you a little more than just a friend or that girl at the coffee shop? Don't you want to look not just twice but three, four, five times and say, 'Wow now thats one confident woman!'
I wear heels every single day to work, I could wear flats but I know that if I do my co-workers will treat me as a little kid instead of the young lady I am. I have noticed that when I wear heels people seem to take me more seriously.
Ok, so that's a couple of reason of what heels can do for you. Now let's talk about what different types of colors, sizes, and designs there is.

Eric here and all of the topics would make interesting speeches. However if I were to write a thesis it would be on telling the truth or embarassing someone. It would probably go something like this: How many of you have ever embarassed a friend in front of them just to get a girl? While it might get a few laughs I would rather tell the truth. Yes the truth I know it might be hard to believe for some of you, but I believe this is true, because honesty will get you everywhere.

7 1/2 yrs is how long i spent with my high school sweet heart. I was young, i was dumb, and i was naive, i was obsessed with the idea of getting married and what comes along with it: the ring, the dress, the family and the house with the white picket fense.
My thesis would be go like this..When getting married at 21 or younger, do you really know what you are getting yourself into? Do you really? A huge percentage of couples that get married at a young percentage end up getting divorced within 5 yrs.

Sorry about that! Well, as you can see, phone calls at inopportune times can really be a hassle! My opinion is that texting is far better than phone calls, because 1, it allows you to respond (or not) at your leisure, 2, you can use them to send fun pictures or videos, and 3, there is a much lower chance of interrupting somebody when texting. I'm telling you this so I can try to convert you to a texting addict like me - I've been texting since 2002! So let me get started with explaining exactly why texting is way better than calling...

Love or money
Well we all know WE love money. but does that make us happy? Everyone can claim money is an issue sometimes that money can sometimes affect the ones who we love. whether its a boyfriend/girlfriend or just a parent or child. Sometimes making money can affect the time to see you child who you love so much just to put food on the table.
Money is sometimes evil. it can distract you from the people you love and sometimes make people see you for who you are.... a money hungry person who thinks about nobody but themselves. In other words does money actually make you a greedy person. How can someone love somebody if all they care about is money.
For the lovers out there... can you say money will bring you happyness? of course not it can only make you comfortable. Money cant buy love that is why it is important that money is evil and love is awsome...
