Coms 301 and 321: Due 4/13

Spring is on its way...we hope! All this rain has our brains going soggy, so tell me this--What really bugs you? Use concepts from either conflict (coms 321) or informative speaking (coms 301) to elaborate! At least five sentences...

What really bugs me is when people display passive aggressive behavioral patterns.

I worked with a girl who, every other day was a hound on me. She would be cuttingly-sharp, rude, and would talk down to me. The next day she would be fine. This lady may have also suffered from bipolar, but it was evident there was some internal conflict that she wasn't addressing explicitly.

I am an explicit person when it comes to disagreement. I will wedge the issue until it is comfortable to discuss, then hold nothing back -- of course aiming towards expressing why I feel contrary, or how their actions made me feel. When people don't communicate, we can't resolve.

It bugs me when people try to get over a line (whether in an express lane at a supermarket or in a long traffic). Everyone is in a hurry and needs to do other things - why can't you wait for your turn and respect the line?

Hey Sandra,
Something that bugs me is when I'm trying to help a customer and the sales people come over and start a conversation with the customer, so then I cannot finish ringing up the customers until their done.
Like the other day I was doing an account with a customer and the sales person came over and started measuring their ring size and it made me so upset because I had to just sit. The customer started making eye contact with me because she knew that I was trying to finish helping her, so she told the sales person that she would do that once I was done with her.
