Logistics: Jennifer, Kelvin, Chieh-Ming, Chi, Jimmy and Dayleen
Hi gang! So far I have reserved two big tables and ten or so chairs for the 4/20 event, from 10-2 in the quad.Rachel Donham is the CRC contact for any logistics requests, if you want to email her, just email me and I will forward on your behalf.I will have students post on your blog pod here with their names and emails if they are physically available to help cover the booth for the four hour event (1 hour each). Do you have any questions about the assignment? Organization of record keepping will be key for you guys, I think! Smiles--S

Hi team--If the poster is not complete for Monday, that's ok, do as much as you can. Dayleen maybe you and Jimmy can start it and then hand ot off to others after Monday's class? Just a suggestion in case you can't all meet--Thanks--Sandra
hi guys,
basically fri sat sun are all ok for chi and I, if you had decided anytime to meet, we will go.
Please let the class know what hours are covered on 4/20 and which ones are not yet covered, so they know when to try and help--Also remind them that it is possible 15 points extra credit for helping on 4/20--Also, fyi--Clas will be out early tomorrow, ending at aprox 830pm. Smiles--S
Chi and I have classes that day at 9:30-10:30am and 2:30-5:00pm in SCC, so, basically, we are available at 11-2 though we'll probably late/leave earlier few minutes.
Jimmy--You got a response on the donations blog thread, you may want to click in and read it there. Great work presenting to class Monday night team, as well as interacting with the donations committee--get creative with that poster now, you artsy logistic people! Kelvin--email me at idnasss@yahoo.com regarding our discussion Monday please--Smiles--Sandra
Uh-oh--The Earthday Group at CRC changed the hours slightly, from 930-1pm instead of 10-2pm..Dayleen, how will this affect the scheduling? Let me know-I just got the email notification on Wed evening--Have a good night and break--Sandra
I hope the change of the hours won't hurt our activity too much. Dayleen...if the schedule of Chi and I need to be changed, it will be ok.
I'm available from 12nn to 1 pm. I would bring some bite size candies we can sell to raise funds. I still have to think what i can bring for the people manning the booth - will update you next week. My cell ph # is 916 803-5187 and email addy is hudsone26@yahoo.com. I'm Eugenia from Com 321.
To look for good pics, we've search many website these days, and found some. However most of them are not vivid enough for us. Finally we saw one which did shock us, and we think it can also shock other people who seen it. Therefore we wanna ask you guys' opinion about this picture, and we will also keep looking for more.
Its link is:

By the way, though this photo could help us raise money, we also worry about if it is appropriate to post such kind of pictures like this in public space, can we?
If we can post the picture and decide to post this one, is there anybody going to print it or Chieh-Ming and I have to print it?
Hi everyone, if everybody feel ok with the picture, I will print and bring it to the class tomorrow. I think we could have more discussion then.
A shocking picture may be motivating for donations, but might also be upsetting, I would get the classes' input tonight--Good work everyone! Smiles--S
Hello!
This is Chris Rocha, just letting you know that I will be there on Thu. 9:30 - 10:30. See you than
-Chris R.
hi dayleen, I am afraid that Chi and I can not show up at 10:30, because we have class in SCC till 10:30 and it takes about 20-30 min to drive from SCC to CRC, so I am thinking about if you can change our schedule to 11:00-12:00 or later. Thanks.
Looks good,I can cover the change for Chieh Ming and Chi, Dayleen...I will arrive at 930 at my office, fac 102 next door to the Visula performing arts Office and across from the library--S
I think everybody has done a great job on the booth. We got lot of donation and made many people know more about the disasters as well.
